Security Council

The United Nations Security Council is the primary body within the United Nations for addressing threats to international peace and security. The Security Council is composed of fifteen members-- ten members elected by the UN General Assembly, and five permanent members endowed with veto powers. Delegates must be prepared to address any threats to international peace, from any part of the world and in any manner, that may arise at present and as time passes.
